Residential Land have acquired 5 Elephants as part of The London Elephant Parade 2010! These individual works of art have been a feature across the Capital over the last few months to raise money for a worthy cause.
258 brightly decorated elephants were left across London in a unique art event aimed at raising £2 million to protect the habitat of the endangered Asian Elephant.
The London Elephant Parade generated mass awareness of the animals plight whilst bringing enjoyment to millions. The exhibition conculded with auctions selling off the individual elephants and all money raised going to the Elephant Family Charity.
Residential Land enjoyed the Elephant Parade so much we wanted to support the Charity and purchased 5 of our favourite exhibits, including Luna – a glossy black Elephant with twinkling lights who was located in Westfield Shopping Centre. Luna was designed by artists Matt McCann, Jake Scott & Nick Colyer and can now be seen at our 59 Grosvenor Street Head Office in Mayfair!
Conrgatulations to the Elephant Family charity for such a magnificent event that brought a smile to so many of us in London!
