Residential Land attended the Sugarplum Ball last Wednesday. The event saw the launch of the Sugarplum Children; a new website and fundraising initiative for children (and their parents) who are 10 years and under with type 1 Diabetes. The night also raised money for the JDRF, a type 1 diabetes charity which aims to improve the lives of those living with type 1 diabetes, as well as funding the research to cure, treat and prevent it. It is the world’s leading charitable funder of type 1 diabetes research and has to date invested £1billion in to research.
The evening began with a three course dinner and speeches. This was followed by a performance from Giffords Circus and a live auction, where diners could bid in order to raise money.
Guests on the night included Pippa Middleton and her boyfriend, Nico Jackson, Poppy Delevigne and Julian Fellowes.
