This year’s Children’s Trust Gala event was hosted by Nick and Holly Candy and was one of the first for the couple’s new charity which helps support children with disability, cancer and Alzheimer’s by raising money for research. The event raised over £550,000 and Residential Land is proud to become a Patron for this charity, by donating generously.
Holly Candy, Ambassador for The Children’s Trust said: “The Children’s Trust is one of those amazing places you know would be there to help should the worst happen”
Every year The Children’s Trust charity supports thousands of children with brain injury, by providing expert rehabilitation , education , therapy and care for them and their families across the UK. Charity also offers services in communities around the country and online support for parents.
Among the invitees was nine-year-old Seb Goold, who was joined on stage by his mother Tracey, after successfully completing intensive rehabilitation at The Children’s Trust specialist centre. Dame Joan Collins, David Williams and Rory Bremer were also among the guests who were there to support the charity, as well as double Brit Award winner Ellie Goulding, who entertained guests with an acoustic set, while raising money for this great cause.
