Founded in 2001 to make a difference to those living in poverty working with some of the poorest rural communities across the world. The trust also funded their first eye care project in 2001. More recently, the Trust has expanded its work into two additional focus areas; care for the dying (Palliative Care) and environmentally friendly agricultural improvements.
Recognizing the continued need for our work, the Trust has increasingly reached out to other donors, offering 100% of donations to go to the project of their choice, while at the same time, providing high level monitoring and evaluation, to guarantee quality and effectiveness.
Over the last 17 years they have directly helped, 250,000 people receive eye surgery, 35,104 people receive palliative care and 5,200 Young people in training and education – these are only a few of the statistics showing the trusts successful work.
